My car is an early 22 Ioniq 5 Ultimate RWD with Tech Pack. I have noticed that when braking gently when cruise control is engaged (e.g. approaching a roundabout) the car judders quite badly. This only tends to happen on uneven road surfaces (of which we have plenty in UK). Has anybody else experienced this?
I think it is just a case of the vehicle getting a little confused because the car is trying to maintain the speed and the gentle braking does not immediately disengage cruise control. So this is probably using the cruise control when I shouldn't. I just find it a good way to prevent inadvertently creeping above the speed limit. My previous cars with cruise control have all had a facility that allowed manual driving but prevented the car going above a set speed. I cannot find any such facility on the Ioinq 5.
